The pure product has the appearance of white powder, colorless crystals, and a melting point of 36°C. Vapor pressure 1.6mPa (20°C). Solubility: 27g/L (pH7) in water, >1g/L in methanol. Suitable crops include cereals, oil crops, sugarcane, castor, rice, sunflower, and lawn grass.
The main use of Trinexapac-ethyl is as a plant growth regulator, which can be quickly absorbed by plant stems and leaves, but very little by the roots. By regulating the content of gibberellic acid in plants, plant growth can be controlled to achieve the effect of controlling growth and resisting lodging.
