Product Detail
Prohexadione calcium is a plant growth retardant with excellent systemic conduction properties. The pure product is white, and the original is beige or light yellow amorphous solid with no odor. It is relatively stable to light and air, easily decomposed in acidic medium, stable in alkaline medium, and has good thermal stability.
It is absorbed by the roots, stems, leaves and other parts of crops. It interferes with the synthesis of gibberellic acid and increases the levels of elicitors, zeatin and cytokinins in the plant, thereby inhibiting the growth of aboveground stems and promoting reproductive growth, thereby controlling excessive growth, preventing lodging, increasing production and improving quality.
Functions
1. Prohexadione calcium is used on root tubers, Chinese medicinal materials such as sweet potatoes, potatoes, ginger, Ophiopogon japonicus, Panax notoginseng and other crops, which can increase crop photosynthesis, promote the accumulation of crop dry matter, increase yield, improve quality and storage resistance.
2. Prohexadione calcium can shorten the length and diameter of the base internodes of rice and wheat, improve lodging resistance, control the vigorous growth of soybeans, corn, sunflowers, Panax notoginseng, strawberries, beans, cucumbers, and peppers, and play a significant role in controlling shoots on apples, citrus, and grapes.
3. Prohexadione calcium can increase the per-acre yield of rice and wheat. It can promote the number of peanut pods and the proportion of double pods, and improve quality. It can promote the growth of crops such as cotton, corn, soybeans, sunflowers, watermelons, peppers, tomatoes, beans, etc., improve photosynthesis, and increase yield. It has obvious effects of fruit swelling, color change and sugar increase on apples, grapes, citrus, mangoes, kiwis, cherries, and peaches.
4. Prohexadione calcium can promote the growth of adventitious roots of crops, develop the root system of crops, and effectively prevent the occurrence of premature aging of crops in the later stage.
5. Prohexadione calcium can increase the disease resistance, insect resistance and stress resistance of crops.


How to use
Wheat: 7 to 10 days before wheat jointing after it turns green, use 50g-75g of 5% P-ca effervescent granules per acre, add 30 kg water and spray, which can effectively reduce the height of wheat plants and prevent lodging.
Apples, pears, hawthorns, cherries, plums, etc., spray 1000 to 2000 times of 5% P-ca effervescent granules on the leaves within 10 days after flowering, which can significantly inhibit the excessive growth of leaves and branches, increase the fruiting rate, improve the quality of the fruit, and increase the yield.
Cotton: In the middle of cotton growth, 20-30g of 5% P-ca effervescent granules per acre, diluted with 30kg of water, can be sprayed on the leaves to inhibit the vegetative growth of leaves and branches and significantly reduce the height of the plant.
Lawn: 10-20g/acre of 5% P-ca effervescent granules can be sprayed on the leaves to reduce the height by 50-90%, significantly reducing the number of mowing times, and can be used throughout the growing season.


Characteristics
-When P-ca is sprayed on plants, it can be quickly absorbed by the leaf cells of crops. The part where plants synthesize gibberellins is in the leaves, which can directly act on the target, so it has the characteristics of high activity.
-The half-life of P-ca is very short. In soil rich in microorganisms, the half-life does not exceed 24 hours.
-P-ca can be quickly degraded into water and carbon dioxide by microorganisms in the soil. It has no residual toxicity to rotation plants and no pollution to the environment. Therefore, P-ca is a low-toxic and residue-free green product.

Parameters
Large differences in dosages used on different crop species and varieties. Cultivation of social seedlings: seed soaking treatment with 30~100mg/L medicinal solution or spraying with 1~10mg/L medicinal solution at seedling stage.
Inhibit vegetative growth: 150~500mg/L medicinal solution treatment (different dosages for different crops vary greatly).
