Indole-3-butyric Acid Potassium Salt (IBA-K) is a root-promoting plant growth regulator. It induces crops to form adventitious roots. Through foliar spraying, root dipping, etc., it enters the plant body from leaves and seeds and concentrates on the growth points, promoting cell division and inducing the formation of adventitious roots.

It is easily soluble in water and has higher activity than indoleacetic acid. It will slowly decompose under strong light and has a stable molecular structure when stored under shading conditions.

The pure product is white to light yellow, melting point 124-125 (acid): vapor pressure <0.01MPa, its acid (potassium indole butyrate) is slightly soluble in water, solubility in water (20℃) is 50 mg / L,

It is soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, benzene, etc. It is stable in acidic medium, and salify becomes to salt under alkaline condition.

Functions

1.IBA-K can act on all the growing parts of the plant, such as roots, buds, and fruits. It can strongly promote cell division and growth in the specific treatment parts.
2.Similar to IAA, but better stability and better applicability.Similar to NAA, but safer than NAA(NA).
3.Induce root tissue differentiation, stimulate rooting and increase the amount of root coefficient.
4.Promote cell elongation and regulate fruit growth.
5.Improve the absorption and operation of nutrients, regulate vegetative growth and reproductive growth.

How to use

IBA-K dipping method: depending on the difficulty of rooting, use 50-300ppm to soak the base of the cuttings for 6-24 hours.

IBA-K quick dipping method: depending on the difficulty of rooting, use 500-1000ppm to soak the base of the cuttings for 5-8 seconds.

IBA-K powder dipping method: after mixing potassium indolebutyrate with talcum powder and other additives, soak the base of the cuttings, dip in powder, and cut.

Fertilizer application: 3-6 grams per mu, drip irrigation: 1.0-1.5 grams, seed mixing: 0.05 grams of original medicine mixed with 30 kilograms of seeds.

IBA-K mainly acts on cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers. Cutting rooting of trees and flowers, apples, peaches, pears, citrus, grapes, kiwis, strawberries, poinsettias, dianthus, chrysanthemums, roses, magnolias, tea trees, poplars, azaleas, etc.
