Product Detail
The mechanism of action of maleic hydrazide is to inhibit the cell division of meristems in active growth areas. It can inhibit apical dominance, inhibit vigorous growth at the top, and transport photosynthetic products downward; entering the axillary buds, lateral buds or buds of tubers and roots, it can control the germination of these buds or extend the germination period of these buds.
The pure product is colorless crystals. It is insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents, and easily soluble in diethanolamine or triethanolamine. It is used as a selective herbicide or temporary plant growth inhibitor. Green freshness can enter the plant through the leaf cuticle, reduce photosynthesis, osmotic pressure and transpiration, and can strongly inhibit the growth of buds.
