Scientific Use Guide for Plant Growth Regulators

How to use Plant growth regulators correctly?
1. Accurately match needs:
- Promote rooting: Soak the base of branches with auxin before cutting.
- Protect flowers and fruits: Spray gibberellins during flowering to reduce shedding.
- Control growth: Spray wheat with paclobutrazol to prevent lodging.
2. Concentration and timing:
- Too high concentration can easily cause pesticide damage (such as leaf deformity), and it needs to be diluted strictly according to the instructions.
- Application during sensitive periods (such as flowering and young fruiting) is the best.
3. Environmental adaptation:
- Avoid spraying under high temperature and strong light to prevent evaporation too quickly or burn the plant.
- Compatibility needs to be tested when mixed with fertilizers and pesticides.
Case: In grape cultivation, ethephon can ripen 7-10 days in advance, but excessive use will cause the fruit to become soft and rotten.
