1. What is brassinolide

Brassinolide is a plant growth regulator that can promote plant growth and dwarfing. It is an endogenous hormone with similar physiological effects to gibberellins in plants.

2. Why do green onions need to be sprayed with brassinolide

Green onions are perennial herbs with a long growing season. Dwarfing management is required to achieve the goals of early maturity, increased yield and high quality. Spraying brassinolide can change the growth habits of green onions, promote the growth of underground parts, prevent the stalks from being slender, increase leaf growth, make them grow stronger, and enhance their disease resistance and stress resistance.

3. Spraying time

Brassinolide can be sprayed during the growth period of green onions. It is generally recommended that the spraying time is from the 3-5 leaf stage to the central leaf before the expansion. The number of times brassinolide is sprayed is more appropriate to be 1-2 times.

4. Dosage

The dosage of spraying brassinolide should be determined according to the actual situation. The generally recommended concentration is 100-200ppm and the dosage per mu is 50-100g. It is recommended to spray in the morning or evening when the temperature is low to avoid affecting the efficacy of the medicine under high temperature.
