Application examples of plant growth regulator forchlorfenuron (KT-30)
① Kiwifruit.
The application period is 20 to 25 days after flowering. Use 5 to 10 ml of 0.1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) solution (0.005 to 0.02 g of active ingredient) and add 1 liter of water. Soak the young fruit once, or soak or spray the fruit with 5 to 10 ml/L (5 to 10 mg/L) 20 to 30 days after flowering.
② Citrus.
Before the physiological fruit drop of citrus, use 5 to 20 ml of 0.1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) (0.005 to 0.02 g of active ingredient) and add 1 liter of water. Apply to the fruit stem once 3 to 7 days after flowering and 25 to 35 days after flowering. Or use 5 to 10 ml of 0.1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) and 1.25 ml of 4% Gibberellic Acid GA3 emulsion and add 1 liter of water. The application method is the same as forchlorfenuron (KT-30) alone.
③ Grapes.
Use 5-15 ml of 0.1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) solution (0.005-0.015 g of active ingredient) and add 1 liter of water to soak the young fruit clusters 10-15 days after flowering.
④ Watermelon.
On the day of flowering or the day before, use 30-50 ml of 0.1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) solution (0.03-0.05 g of active ingredient) and add 1 liter of water to apply to the fruit stalk or spray on the ovary of the pollinated female flower, which can increase the fruit setting rate and yield, increase the sugar content, and reduce the thickness of the fruit skin.
⑤ Cucumbers.
In the case of low temperature, rainy weather, insufficient light, and poor fertilization during flowering, in order to solve the problem of fruit rot, 50 ml of 0.1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) solution (0.05 g of active ingredient) and 1 liter of water are applied to the fruit stem on the day of flowering or the day before to increase the fruit setting rate and yield.
⑥ Peach.
30 days after flowering, spray the young fruit with 20 mg/L (20 mg/L) to increase fruit expansion and promote coloring.
Precautions for the use of Forchlorfenuron (KT-30)
1. The concentration of forchlorfenuron (KT-30) cannot be increased at will, otherwise bitterness, hollowness, deformed fruits, etc. may occur
2. Forchlorfenuron (KT-30) cannot be applied repeatedly
The recommended dosage of forchlorfenuron (KT-30): spray 1-2PPM on the whole plant, spray 3-5PPM locally, apply 10-15PPM, and apply 1% forchlorfenuron (KT-30) soluble powder at 20-40/acre.
