Advantage 1: High fertilizer efficiency of foliar fertilizer

Under normal circumstances, after applying nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, they are often affected by factors such as soil acidity, soil moisture content and soil microorganisms, and are fixed and leached, which reduces the fertilizer efficiency. Foliar fertilizer can avoid this phenomenon and improve fertilizer efficiency. Foliar fertilizer is sprayed directly on the leaves without contacting the soil, avoiding adverse factors such as soil adsorption and leaching, so the utilization rate is high and the total amount of fertilizer can be reduced.
Foliar fertilizer has a high utilization rate and can also stimulate root absorption. Under the condition of maintaining the same yield, multiple foliar spraying can save 25% of soil-applied nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.

Advantage 2: Foliar fertilizer saves time and labor
If foliar fertilizer is mixed with pesticides and sprayed once, it can not only save operating costs, but also improve the efficacy of certain pesticides. Experiments have shown that inorganic and organic nitrogen compounds in foliar fertilizers promote the absorption and transfer of pesticides; surfactants can improve the diffusion of fertilizers and pesticides on the leaves and prolong the absorption time of soluble nutrients; the pH value of foliar fertilizers can produce a buffering effect and improve the absorption rate of certain pesticides.

Advantage 3: Fast-acting foliar fertilizers
Foliar fertilizers act faster than root fertilizers, and foliar fertilization can improve plant nutrition in a timely and rapid manner. Generally speaking, foliar fertilization is faster than root absorption. For example, spraying 1-2% urea aqueous solution on the leaves can absorb 1/3 after 24 hours; spraying 2% superphosphate extract can be transported to all parts of the plant after 15 minutes. It can be seen from this that foliar fertilization can replenish the nutrients needed by plants in a short time and ensure the normal growth of plants.

Advantage 4: Low pollution of foliar fertilizers
Nitrate is one of the carcinogens. Due to the unscientific and excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer, nitrates have been accumulated in surface water systems and vegetable crops, which has attracted increasing attention. 75% of the nitrates inhaled by humans come from vegetable crops. Therefore, foliar fertilization for vegetable planting can not only reduce soil nitrogen fertilizer, maintain the established yield, but also reduce pollution-free vegetables.

Advantage 5: Foliar fertilizer is highly targeted
What crops lack is supplemented? During the growth and development of plants, if a certain element is lacking, its deficiency will quickly show up on the leaves. For example, when crops lack nitrogen, the seedlings often turn yellow; when they lack phosphorus, the seedlings turn red; when they lack potassium, the plants develop slowly, the leaves are dark green, and finally orange-red chlorotic spots appear. According to the characteristics of crop leaf deficiency, timely spraying can be used to supplement the missing elements to improve symptoms.

Advantage 6: Foliar fertilizer can supplement the lack of nutrient absorption by the roots
In the seedling stage of plants, the root system is not well developed and the absorption capacity is weak, which is prone to yellow and weak seedlings. In the later stage of plant growth, the root function declines and the ability to absorb nutrients is poor. Therefore, foliar fertilization can increase the yield. Especially for fruit trees and vegetable crops, the effect of foliar fertilization is more obvious.
However, the concentration and amount of foliar fertilizer are limited, and it cannot be sprayed in large quantities, especially for macronutrients and minor nutrient elements, so it can be used for trace elements with less dosage.
