What plant growth regulators are used to promote rooting and growth of lavender cuttings?
Studies have shown that the use of 300 mg/L Indole-3-Butyric Acid (IBA) to treat lavender cuttings can quickly promote rooting, increase rooting rate, average root length, root number and root effect index.
In addition, 1-Naphthyl Acetic Acid (NAA) also has a significant effect on promoting rooting, among which 200 mg/L NAA treatment has the best rooting effect on elegant lavender, while 150 mg/L NAA treatment has the best rooting effect on toothed lavender.
These results show that both IBA and NAA are effective plant growth regulators that can be used to promote rooting and growth of lavender cuttings.
